Super zoom into time. It's 8 years after this review. Mr. Craig what do you think is the better option for a comparable Panasonic camera mega zoom but a larger sensor that you have requested? I'm no camera snob. In fact, my knowledge of them is pretty low but my interest is pretty high. Bought a new 128GB sdxc card last night from Micro Center for my trusty old Panasonic Lumix FZ35 megazoom. A 2010 era camera. Put the card in, immediately got a pleasant message: TRY ANOTHER CARD. I figured the new card needs to be formatted to the camera but the camera would not allow me into any menu functions. Lovely. Here I am trying to figure it out but looking into rabbit holes along the way. Maybe I should try to 'format' it on this laptop first. Hmm. It's the simple stuff that gets you every time! Except to some of us blokes, it's just not that simple. Have a blessed day every one of you.

Thanks for sharing, I have exactly the same experience you described. I was also playing tennis and jumping for a backhand volley and ended up hitting a winner. It felt like someone served a big serve and hit me directly on my calf while I was in the air and then intense cramp after. I do feel much better about it after watching this video and hope you are correct. It's been two weeks and not normal yet but progressing well.

I appreciate the logic of this presentation and the presentation style. For Grand Seiko watches, I believe that the Japanese have a culture of taking care of their products - from cars to watches - servicing is part of the culture. I also believe that the first service is the most important one, as they state in their manuals. I don't have the time to attempt to know more than GS directly recommends. I doubt that it's a large revenue center for them compared to their overall revenue objectives. It's also interesting that service costs are similar for some customers even if not serviced over time. I have serviced just a few watches, but they have all been quoted a few different menus of what can be fixed - beyond cosmetic issues. These are all interesting points you made and I learned from them. Thanks!

Band width is the channel spacing; 25K (Wide Band) 20K(Middle Band) 12.5K (Narrow band). Entirely depends on your use case. GMRS has a mix of 20k and 12.5k

You only need to service if there is an issue. If it runs great then you are good to go.
